		<description><![CDATA[I agree that simply badges and points for dull enterprise tasks will not lead to much (though even such simplistic gamification shows already 2-digit improvements in many examples). But the more sophisticated examples like e.g. from PropsToYou (gamified project management) etc. are popping up now. I just attended the Engage 2012 event from Badgeville and they had already an impressive number of speakers on enterprise gamification. Also other platforms like Bunchball have a collection of enterprise examples.

People play a game to get the game outcome. Points and badges for filling out HR forms don&#039;t strike me as meaningful adult rewards/incentives. There is huge value in a game experience, especially for learning new things. In my view throwing points and ribbons at everything just damages credibility at some level.
