Textio is the eleventh of twelve organizations appearing on The HRExaminer 2020 Watchlist. Textio delivers augmented writing. With its first implementation as a bias reducer in job ad creation, the company started down the road to understanding the meaning of the words you use. By providing the equivalent of a digital mirror, the company gives its users feedback that allows them to adjust their language before communicating.
Talespin is the tenth of twelve organizations appearing on The HRExaminer 2020 Watchlist. Talespin creates enterprise XR (virtual, augmented, and mixed reality) workforce transformation solutions. Talespin’s most observable offering is Barry, the AI character you can fire over and over again. Talespin is important because we’re entering an era where full productivity can be reached in radically reduced time due to XR-powered practice environments.
SwoopTalent is the ninth of twelve organizations appearing on The HRExaminer 2020 Watchlist. Founders Stacy Chapman and Satish Sallakonda are long term veterans of the Silicon Valley Human Capital Management network. With substantial experience at Peoplesoft, Oracle, and Aruspex, they’ve built the company to solve longstanding and emerging industry problems. Data sourcing, quality, and control are at the heart of this enterprise. Currently, SwoopTalent does a spectacular job of managing the quality of large volumes of sourcing data.
Modern Hire is the eighth of twelve organizational profiles appearing on The HRExaminer 2020 Watchlist. Modern Hire is the rebranded organization that sprang from Shaker International merging with Montage in May 2019. The combination of Open Standards thinking and technical depth that is so promising with Modern Hire. It leads to a team culture that is deeply sensitive to the implications and consequences of their technology. They are thoughtful and ethical technologists willing to deeply discuss and debate the implications of their work for their clients, for the industry, and for the people who engage with their tools.
Phenom People is the seventh of twelve organizational profiles appearing on The HRExaminer 2020 Watchlist. Phenom People is the largest provider of the next generation of recruiting tools. At the heart of the company are a set of unusual values. The co-founders insist that they are more interested in reaching their goal of “helping a billion people find the right job”, than making lots of money. They are on track to do both.
Paychex is the sixth of twelve organizational profiles appearing on The HRExaminer 2020 Watchlist. Paychex has 670,000 clients and delivers payroll services to nearly 10% of the American population. Paychex is demonstrating that large databases and broad-spectrum utilization of ‘AI’ tools can strengthen existing operations.
Oleeo is the fifth of twelve organizational profiles appearing on The HRExaminer 2020 Watchlist. Oleeo focuses on candidate engagement from when someone enters the recruiting pipeline. They provide tools and applications that handle the entire range of functions from interviewing to candidate relationship management and events. Oleeo has the distinct advantage of large data stores and long-term relationships with customers and they seem to be using these advantages more effectively than some.
