Great summary. I keep saying that the management practices used in 2019 don’t necessarily work today. I hope that what we delegate to AI & automation will free up time for managers to lean into their strategic insights.

Nice piece. One of the few joys of older age -- apart from all its indignities -- is the young 'uns thinking you're wise when you solve a problem they've brought to you. Never imagining that it's simply pattern recognition (which you mention) from having solved a similar problem a half dozen times before. It's not just managers, of course. Much of psychopharmacology is pattern recognition -- what worked most often for similar symptoms? -- especially since the science of so many drugs is unknown.
